The Salvation Army is a reputable, international organization which has operated in Fort Erie since 1926. As the largest social service provider in the country, second only to the government. The Salvation Army gives hope and support to vulnerable people today and everyday in 400 communities across Canada and in more than 140 countries around the world. The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life, provides shelter for homeless people and rehabilitation for people who have lost control of their lives to an addiction.

In Fort Erie thousands of individuals and families are assisted every year through the dedication of a compassionate team of volunteers and staff, and through the donations of time, finances and food.
